A very cold saturday
On 10/26/13, on a very cold Saturday morning, over 1000 people gathered for this event. By cold, I mean 38 degrees around 8:45 a.m. without the wind. The place was Coca-Cola Park (home of Ironpigs baseball) in Allentown, Pa. Volunteers, participants, vendors came together to support Live, Learn and Play and families with special needs.
Keeping this one short, I figured a lot of people would have shown up. When I was told over 1000 participants, I was amazed. The line to register was so long, they had to break it down into groups. I was curious about the "color" part. Considering everyone was wearing white. At the start and various points in the course, people moved through a cloud of colored dust. Everyone pretty much looked tie-dyed at the end.
It was a great success and everyone had a good time. Myself included, except for when the wind kicked up. Reason the video is shaky. I was freezing! :)
