Complete waste of time
I can write lyrics, not a problem. Composing the music, BIG PROBLEM! Music apps are always towards the top of my list to check out. Browsing Amazon App Store, I cam across Action Loops. Turns out this was a waste of even the download time.
Action Loops is basically a beat creation app, that is about it. You have 12 choices at different beats per minute. After you make a choice, there are 15 total buttons, each one has a different type of beat. This is great for mixing and creating new music and styles. Pretty much all you can do with it, seriously. That is what makes this app beyond a complete waste.
For most people, having simple options, like being able to save, is a nice feature! I realize this is the free version, but still, make it worth the time. Due to lack of features, this is an extremely short review.
Overall rating: This is not one that reaches that low. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
One exception, if you just want to create music. If you need a fill in at your next show, this would be a great idea. Otherwise, there are much better apps for free or pay.
