Art for Autism
On Friday, April 10 the Crayola Gallery at Banana Factory was crowded. Not for First Friday, but to help make a difference and fight Autism.
With delicious food, including bourbon meatballs and Hawaiin pierogies, provided by Diana's Cafe; this event had everything! Back to the art...
A large variety of genres including realism and abstract were present. The auction had something for almost everyone. If you were not interested in bidding, donations were gladly accepted. I stayed until after the bidding was finshed. Honestly, very surprised at how many pieces sold. Do not get me wrong, all the artists were very high quailty. Maybe because this was the first auction I covered. Overall, the event was a big success for a great cause.
