Cold / snow flurries / holiday spirit!
Having explored the area in 2012, I wanted to hit the non-retail side of the Lehigh Valley. With Bethlehem and Easton having their lighting ceremonies at the same time, Bethlehem was my first stop. The weather was warmer in the morning. Right now, at 1:45, the temps dropped, winds are starting and snow flurries. In other words, a perfect start to the holiday season!!!! After walking around main st. and wrapping up the video part, needed 2 things: coffee and wifi. Even though I am very familiar with main st.; still had to ask about a place that had both. A very friendly person in the information booth directed me to Stations across the st.
Ok, warm / coffee / uploads going / holiday spirit? Check! / Christmas Music? Check! Time to make this short so you can get a feel for the area. The village is split into 2 parts, one at the far end of main st away from broad. The second, is in the Sun Inn courtyard. Both are very cool and give you a great feel for a small village from over a century ago. Arts / Crafts / Unique gift ideas and so much more can be found here. Don't worry about the cold! One house has food, coffee, hot cocoa. If you want to go inside to eat or warm up, no problem. A variety of shops, food, beverage places are here within a very short walk.
Thanks to Stations for the break. The wifi and coffee made this one possible so fast.
Time for a few videos and make sure you check out the links!!!!
