This one had a weird effect on me. On the way over, Boofest was my first stop. Walking up west Broad St., I was getting a feel for the crowd before the parade started. I figured, Main St. would be a good place to watch. I later found out everywhere was a good place. Two streets were lined with people waiting for the start. This was my first time at Bethlehem's Halloween Parade. I did not realize the huge amount of people who would be there. At times, it was faster to walk on the street vs. sidewalks.
Finding a good spot for video, like everyone else, I waited to hear something announcing the start. After a few minutes, a strange feeling caught me off guard. Honestly, I felt a kid. Getting anxious for the start of a parade. Looking forward to hearing sirens and a band. Seeing all the different organizations and groups walking down the street. It was very weird and cool.
How was the parade? I will let the video clips tell the story. Btw: the shaking was from a cold wind that kicked up. My body is still back in summer.
