Catasauqua Park
After covering the tree lighting ceremonies in Allentown and Bethlehem and Easton for the peace candle. Catasauqua was a different experience for me. It is kind of hard to describe, the people and feel of a small town tree lighting helps remind us of what the holidays are about.

Family and friends getting together. Kids believing in Santa Claus. Everyone standing in cold temperatures waiting for a tree to be lit up and welcome in the holiday season. I think this is what the entire world needs to be reminded about. Between Main St. in Bethlehem on Black Friday and Catasauqua, this author and magazine owner was definitely reminded of the true meaning of the holidays: laughter, love and forgetting about our differences.
