Lego City My City / Android smartphone
What can I say, there is still a small part of me that has the "kid at heart" thing going. I have always loved Lego's. Looking for a new game to try / review, I saw this one in the Google Play store and could not resist. Reading the reviews, figured it was just for kids, wrong!
Advance warning: have some space on your phone for the install. This one is a space killer. The bonus here: it is not a battery killer even playing it for over 1/2 hour straight.
I like this game because there is a lot of variety. For someone who has never tried a racing game where the control is moving the phone, a great way to get the feel of it! Back to the variety. There are 12 different mini games to play. Each one has different controls and challenges. Some are fairly simple and easy. Others, especially after your start working your way up the levels, can get hard.
To give you and example: The first one I tried, control a snowmobile. You can not control speed only direction by tilting the phone left or right. I find this one very challenging due to not being a master of this type. During the game, you can pick up gold bricks which add to your score. Another example? A building is on fire and you have to aim the water at different windows in a set time limit.
Overall, I recommend this game to everyone! Kids will have a lot of fun with it, especially the video clips in between. Adults will have the fun and also like the challenge and variety. With 12 different min-games and increasing difficult levels in each, this is definitely a great time killer game. You can play it for only a minute or an hour. Lego City My City is definitely cool and different.
