Lynn Noble / dance photographer
It has been months, at least, since i have covered any art exhibit openings. Went to a few, but nothing really stood out. After a while, it does take a lot to get my interest going.
Before I forget: You can see her work at the Bethlehem House Gallery (Main St. / Bethlehem, PA) in the current exhibit, Holiday Show.
Back to the article. I noticed her first piece and my immediate reaction was "I wanted to meet this artist!" Last time I had that reaction was over a year ago. What I love about her work is something new and different. What the Lehigh Valley art scene seriously needed.

As you can see, the center piece may look seriously edited. Yes, it is a photo, not a painting. The motion blur adds an abstract aspect that allows the viewer to form their own meaning. I have been a fan of abstract art for a few decades. Ms. Noble's work takes the genre to a different level. An almost perfect combination and blending of the two.
I did have a chance to meet and speak with Ms. Noble. A serious surprise was in the conversation. Ms. Noble only edits to remove minor things like dust specks. The blur is from the photo, not editing!
Lynn Noble is definitely one photographer / artist to place on top of your watch list! Her raw, natural, talent is rare. Her work leaves it to the imagination while based on reality.
Stop by the Bethlehem House Gallery and check out her work. Open the mind and imagination when you experience it.
