Like other local bands, I did catch a live show before the Cd review. This is a full, 12 track, cd. I will not be doing a complete breakdown. Only short mentions of tracks. Then, overall review.

Right off, with Red Dress (track 1), I was moving to the beat. It starts the Cd with a simple beat. You can feel the music and lyrics. Maybe it is because the live show was recent. I could see the band on stage doing this song. A slight reminder of the song: Redneck Woman Gretchen Wilson)

Title track 3AM Epiphany, slows things down with a great story!

Rider (Track 4) is more country / blues in lyrics / music. Add in a slight hint of gospel.

Starting with Rider and continuing to Mockingbird (Track 6), the country / blues theme continues. Changes of pace and speed help separate the tracks. Mockingbird makes an interesting comparison. Honestly, I slightly zoned out between Rider and At Last

At Last (track 8) brought my full attention with a solid blues style beat and lyrics.

Son of a Preacher Man (track 9), really picks up the pace! A mix of mild rock / dance had me moving.

So Many Dreams (track 10) is a very moving and emotional ballad. A Soft musical tone help carry the emotion. Sarah’s voice combined with lyrics, make you feel every note and emotion.

Alaska (track 11), again, changes pace with more upbeat lyrics / music

How does the Cd end? Guess you will have to buy a copy and find out. Hint: With one of the best tracks!!!

Would I recommend it? Yes, no doubt. You may zone out a little around the mid-point. The beginning and end will really catch your attention. There is a good varitety between genres: blues / rock / dance / country and a hint of gospel. Sarah has a powerful voice that seriously shines on some songs. The band more than proves flexibility with the genres. Each song tells a good story in the lyrics.
