Saturday with Santa / The Epicenter / Allentown, PA
Santa made a special appearance at the Epicenter in Allentown on 12/13/14. Curious why he took time out of his busy schedule for this one? Easy answer: for the children. Apparently, one of his elves mentioned that Gina Blevins and others wanted to help out kids and families for Christmas.
I arrived around 12, went up to the 3rd floor and did not even try to make it through the crowd. After the event was over, Gina told me around 500 families had a chance to say hello to Santa! In addition to each child getting a present and photo, refreshments were provided. A great preview of the Big Day for Santa and children of all ages!!!!
I was downstairs, near the elevator speaking with Mary Pierce. In the hour I was there, the amount of smiling faces (not only kids, but adults) I saw was cool. When people were leaving, they were greeted with Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
Thanks to Alfonso Todd III, Gina Blevins, Santa and everyone involved. You helped give a lot of families a great Christmas again.
