Layers and common sense
Thanks to a friend for reminding about this part. Please make sure your pets are indoors and warm!They may have fur, but are just as vulnerable to cold as humans. When you take them out, do not stay long. Their paws can easily freeze very fast. If possible, make sure they have something on, including the paws. If you have them in the car, leave the heat on. Do not leave your best friend in a cold vehicle for longer than a few seconds.
